The Fillmore District is a neighborhood in San Francisco, California which has a long history dating back to the 1800s. In the last 50 years and up until today, the redevelopment of The Fillmore District has displaced families and local businesses away from their own neighborhood. ‘Woman (Feat. Cleo Sol)’ follows on from ‘Introvert’, marking the first tasters of new full-length ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’. The follow-up to the acclaimed ‘Grey Area’, it’s set to arrive on 3rd September and features guest appearances from the likes of Cleo Sol, Obongjayar and The Crown actress Emma Corrin. Of the song, Simz says: “I love it when I see women doing their thing and looking flawless; I’m here for that! Richmond CA's D.Bledsoe supplies "Full Moon Over Broadway", the first visual offering from his latest release "Stargazer Gospel". D. Bledsoe keeps the vibe on the San Francisco side of the Bay showcasing the neon-lined stretch of Broadway historically the city's red-light district, home to strip clubs and other adult businesses. "I wish we could run to the Sun and never come back, if anxiety would go away I could come to relax", Bledsoe doesn't let any light bars go through the filter. Check out D. Oakland's Fantastic Negrito holds up his Grammy Medal representing his 3rd Grammy Nomination since 2017. Fantastic Negrito won his first Grammy in 2017, when The Last Days of Oakland received the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. He won his second Grammy with his next album, Please Don't Be Dead, which won "Best Contemporary Blues Album" at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Oakland Art #DNA
